I operate the Guide and Outfitting School in July. The school is conducted from our Elk/Deer camp cabins in the heart of Colorado's famed Uncompahgre Plateau.

The course will include five full days of detailed instruction.

These are some of the topics we will cover.

1. How to hunt elk, deer, antelope, bear, lion, bighorn sheep, and mountain goats.
2. Firearm safety/bow safety.
3. First aid.
4. GPS, compass, and map orientation.
5. Camp cooking.
6. Gear and maintenance.
7. Optics.
8. Interaction with clients.
9. Division of Wildlife regulations.
10. Forest Service and BLM permits and regulations.
11. Field dressing, caping, boning, and packing meat.
12. Building a Guide Resume.

When you complete my course, I will help you seek employment in the industry if you so desire.
The dates for 2007 are July 9th. through July 13th. and July 16th. through July 20th.
Cost is $1995.00 per student and includes cabin accommodations, all meals, and instructions. Pickup is in Grand Junction, Colorado the day prior to class.

Class size is strictly limited and early booking is a must.
